I'm meant to be flying tomorrow and I have the actual flu, influenza

How depressing. I'm at home, not at work.

These have been some of the hardest two weeks of my life

I've had some crackers thinking back on it, the one where I was on set for 24 hours, had to watch my crush hookup with a good friend and had to attend a funeral all in one day was pretty intense...But these last few weeks I've just felt surreally pummelled, cheese-grated and sautéed. There are some days where I've waken up and just thought to myself, how on earth am I physically going to last til the end of the day?

Today was one of those days. I've barely slept over the last week, Friday night I was sick and up til all hours writing poetic speeches for my dear brother and figuring out html issues before doing a 7-3 shift at the Bakery on Saturday. I went to watch my brother play Soccer after that and then had his 21st (well 22nd disguised as his 21st) where we danced and had pink alcoholic slushies and danced some more and didn't sleep til 3 after which I had to get up and work from 9-6. I feel completely slaughtered.

Songs that will forever remind me of this period in my life :

- Every Heartbeat, Robyn
- Lay Back, Rick Ross ft. Robin Thicke
- Closer - Ne-Yo
- Fade into the Background, Ne-Yo
- Miss Independant, Ne - Yo
- Because of You, Ne-Yo
- Decisions, Brandy (featuring Ne-Yo, he features prominently right?)
- Thriller, Michael

The amount of times I've had to swallow back tears and just want to lay back from pure exhaustion I can't even begin to count, but it's all going to be worth it.

Oh my god, I'm leaving. I have weird little freakouts about that all the time. 5 days of work left. Down that hill.

I got called Stellactica the other night. Isn't that the most awesome variation of my name you've ever heard?

You know what I love doing? Breaking people down. I friggin' love it. I think I may've written about this woman at the bakery before who is a complete bitch, just major bitch. But somehow I've worn her down via my munted ways and now we're total mates and we talk about men and her wild nights. I broke her down by telling her deadpan that I was going back to Greece for an arranged marriage.

Okay, seriously, Lay Back by Rick Ross is the most ridiculously AWESOME song in the world.

Hit it.

You know what I realised last night, my brother knows mad skanks. But also some really cool chicks. But the mad skanks he knows are totally mad skanks.

Ps. It takes me an hour 10 to straighten my hair. Where does it all come from?

Delirious.
Okay, i'm finishing with my thesis all up.
But I'll leave you with :

Love it

I went on a Ferris Wheel last night. I love Ferris Wheels. One of my favourite video clips ever (David Guetta's "Stay") involves a Ferris Wheel (AND pastels, double bonus). There's some seriously hilarious hilarity that ensues when I hang out with uni kids.

In the new office - we're so close to China Town I can almost smell the dumplings. In the afternoon there's this golden light which streams all the way up the street into the office windows. It's reflected off one of the 80's skyscrapers which has gold tinted windows (the kind of skyscraper that Gordon Gecko would have been in and thought was awesome before it was taken over by the Department of Education and installed with middle aged women in floral print blouses running the photocopiers).

Cannot remember for the life of me where I found this image but it's kinda hot, right?

10 days and 7 hours til I walk...
